Workafella: The Best Place to Work, Play, and Create

Womens Day - 2026

CMC-Event 2026

At Workafella, we believe in enabling communities through meaningful experiences. That vision came to life at Workafella Teynampet, which recently hosted the “Marketing Unfiltered 2026” in collaboration with Chennai Marketers Circle. At Workafella, celebrations are not just about marking a date on the calendar, they’re about creating moments that bring people together and inspire appreciation. This Women’s Day, our centres came alive with thoughtful activities that celebrated the incredible women who shape our workplaces, communities, and lives. The celebration began with a small but meaningful gesture. Women across the centre were welcomed with a rose and a bookmark. The rose symbolized appreciation and admiration, while the bookmark served as a reminder of the strength, stories, and journeys that women carry with them every day. It was a simple moment, but one that sparked smiles and heartfelt conversations across the workspace.

To make the day more interactive, we set up a dedicated photo corner with an A1 standee cutout that served as a fun photobooth. Members and teams gathered around the setup to capture pictures together, celebrating the spirit of the day. The photobooth quickly became a lively spot where colleagues paused between meetings and work to click photos, share laughs, and celebrate the women in their teams.

However, the highlight of the celebration was a collaborative art activity designed to bring out creativity and reflection. We placed a large banner featuring several pre-drawn circles across the space. Members were invited to sketch a woman they admire or love in their life, whether it was a mother, sister, friend, mentor, colleague, or any inspiring figure who has made an impact on them. What started as a blank banner soon transformed into a beautiful mosaic of drawings and stories. Some participants created heartfelt sketches, while others added thoughtful messages and small artistic details. Each circle became a personal tribute, and together they formed a powerful visual representation of appreciation for the many women who influence our lives. The activity sparked meaningful conversations among members. People paused to share the stories behind their sketches, talking about the women who inspired them, supported them, and helped shape who they are today. The banner became more than just an art piece; it became a collective expression of gratitude. Throughout the day, the atmosphere across the centre was filled with positivity, creativity, and connection. Small gestures like a rose, a shared photograph, or a simple sketch brought people together in a unique and heartfelt way.At Workafella, we believe that community is built through moments like these moments that celebrate people, encourage expression, and remind us of the importance of appreciation. This Women’s Day celebration was a beautiful reminder that when people come together to acknowledge and uplift one another, even the simplest activities can create lasting memories.
