Workafella’s tide rises high at the Covelong Point festival
Sun, sand, sea and a huge wave of fun! We’re talking about Workafella at Covelong Point Festival!
A surfing fest on the shores of Bay of Bengal brought together an envious line of native to international surfers, yoga instructors and eclectic live music bands. Soaking up on all the good-vibes, we put forth uber-cool activities as the festival’s official work space partner.
While spectators enjoyed eating ice lollies and posing against real and not-so-real waves, celebrities enjoyed the festival as well. South African team cricketer, Jonty Rhodes, Tamil Film actor, Veera, Video Jockey and Event Hostess, Paloma and Festival head, Arun Vasu brought in a starry-yet-fun-filled vibe.
Workafella was a hub of engagement and interaction, that’s why a meet and greet session with band members attracted music aficionados. Some of the prominent bands include: KM Maschine Ensemble, The Sylvester Trio from Bangalore, The Blind Suns, Lady Kash, Yogev Haruvi, Kali Veerapathiran, Non violinist project, Mosko, Langori, Nadav Dagon. The Ultimate Frisbee organised by Workafella, added a splash to the festival as it saw the members of the Tamil Nadu Flying Disc association [TNFDA] be a part.
As a society of thinkers and doers, we aim to break the myth of traditional work environments to create a new lifestyle where Work and Life has a newly acquired balance. India’s award-winning coworking brand, Workafella treasures this valuable association with festival and its growth.
